Extensive research in developing heat shrink technology and decades of experience on field, Raychem has a complete system of cable accessories up to 245 kV. Long term performance of Raychem heat-shrinkable materials has been demonstrated by the well-proven Power Accessory System. Millions of installations in some of the most severe service conditions have confirmed the reliability of the heat-shrink technique under high electrical, thermal and environmental stresses. Cable accessories of all voltages include a specially designed stress control mechanism which controls the electrical stress distribution for an enhanced product performance. In terminations, the insulating tubing ensures non-tracking and erosion resistant surface at extreme operating conditions./span>

Range upto 1.1kV – Heat Shrink & Cold Applied

Insulating and sealing performance of Raychem materials has been demonstrated for over 40 years. These proven materials form the basis for Raychem inline joints for cables up to 1.1 kV. While fully comparable in ease and speed of installation to other modern methods, Raychem joints eliminates delay due to mixing, pouring and topping-up, as they require no jointing compound. This feature cuts out curing time and enables joints to be buried immediately. The heat shrinkable joint components be stored in varying climatic conditions without risk of long-term deterioration.

Range upto 3.6kV to 36kV – Heat Shrink & Cold Applied

Range upto 52kV & 72kV – Heat Shrink

Raychem’s 72 kV terminations are suitable for all climates and environments, even severely polluted areas and for all installation conditions including top feed installation. Factory-engineered kits contain a proven termination system which saves space, facilitates installation and enhances system reliability. Elastomeric 72 kV joints are suitable for all polymeric cables and can accommodate various cross-bonding shield breaks and external grounding arrangements.
